Adult Education

MissalFaith formation is a lifelong journey, and Christian Education doesn’t end with Confirmation! Redeemer offers a variety of forums to help adults grow in faith.

Adult Education

Our main adult forum is Sunday mornings between services from 9:45am-10:45am in the Parish Room. Presenters include pastors, professors, professionals and our own members. We have series that run for multiple weeks and some that are a single session.

Our 2016 plans include a January series on same-gender relationships, and the return of Dr. Kurt Hendel in February.

Text Study

The Pastor’s Bible Study meets Tuesday mornings at 10AM. This group studies the lectionary texts for the upcoming Sunday.  No preparation necessary - just bring yourself and your favorite Bible... or even use one of ours!  (We typically follow the Revised Common Lectionary.  Texts for the week are available in several places online, such as this one.

Small Groups

Small groups are a great way to get to know people at Redeemer. Groups are usually comprised of five or more individuals or families. Each small group determines its own schedule. Some meet monthly, others more frequently. In the fall, and sometimes during Lent or other seasons, we offer special series through the entire small group network. New groups are always forming and old groups are often willing to receive new members. If you would like to join a group, please talk with This email address is being protected from spambots. Gowing-EngagedGrowing our Gifts

What are your spiritual gifts? How do you use them to glorify God through serving others? Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 12 that we are all one body in Christ and through the Holy Spirit we receive gifts to serve God.

By discovering your God-given gifts, you can be better equipped to serve God. Not to mention being able to serve with more enthusiasm and at a higher competency level.

We, at Redeemer, would be happy to help you along your journey of discovering you God-given gifts. Please feel free to contact the church office and you'll be connected with one of our gifts committee members. In the meantime, feel free to do an assessment below.
