Faith formation is a lifelong journey, and opportunities to grow in faith never end! Redeemer offers a variety of forums for adult faith formation.
Lent: Wednesday Soup Suppers, Worship, & Adult Education
On Wednesday evenings during Lent, we will embark on a five-week study of bible stories paired with personal reflections from the congregation that focus on the themes of baptism and rebirth. We will also put our theme to practice by gathering for virtual soup suppers, a “new-normal” time of fellowship before the adult education and worship hour.
Bring a soup from the “Redeemer Soup Supper Recipe Book” (or just a snack) and enjoy one another in fellowship before our time of learning, conversation,
Wedesdays during Lent from 6:30 – 8 pm. More information on our Lent Resources page.
Tuesday Morning’s with Pastor Katie
Pastor Katie leads a lectionary-based study on mornings at 10AM via Zoom. This group studies the texts for the upcoming Sunday. No preparation necessary – just log in and grab your favorite Bible. (We typically follow the Revised Common Lectionary. Texts for the week are available in several places online, such as this one.) If you would like to find out more about Pastor Katie’s Tuesday Bible Study, be sure to email the church office for the Zoom information.
Small groups are a great way to get to know people at Redeemer. Groups are usually comprised of five or more individuals or families. Each small group determines its own schedule. Some meet monthly, others more frequently. In the fall, and sometimes during Lent or other seasons, we offer special series through the entire small group network. New groups are always forming and old groups are often willing to receive new members. If you would like to join a group specifically for our upcoming Fall Focus, please click the link to the right to sign up for more information.
