Communion Class for Kids 4th Grade and Up
During the long season of COVID-19 many milestones were missed. Redeemer wants to offer you an opportunity to study the sacrament of Holy Communion with your 4th-6th grader in 2024.
Our Communion Education series is a lot of fun and involves hands on activities, games, Bible study, and the all important taste test of the communion elements before they are blessed. We will offer four sessions before the kids take communion with the congregation in a service.

Godly Play(Sunday School)
Children up to age 12 are invited to join the Godly Play group during 11am worship. Kids will be dismissed at the beginning of the service, and return to Redeemer’s childcare room or the sanctuary before communion. During Godly Play, kids will hear a sacred story of Christianity told with visual aids. They are invited to wonder, imagine, and connect to these stories in a discussion with the storyteller. A short period of processing follows the story, where they are invited to create, play, or contemplate through a variety of mediums in the classroom space.
Parents and caregivers are invited to tour the space and learn about Godly Play, outside of Sunday School hours. Weekday Godly Play sessions can be scheduled throughout the Sunday time slot. For more information, contact Vr. Kelsey or Pr. Katie.
