Christmastime is one of the most festive seasons at Redeemer and Christmas worship is the highlight of the season. While we haven’t given up hope of gathering in person on Christmas Eve, with infection rates rising, it is important that we make contingency plans.

There will be an online worship service broadcast live on Christmas Eve at 7PM on our website. This service will include all our favorite elements including: reading the Christmas Gospel, Pr. Katie’s sermon, Holy Communion, lots of carols led by our choir, and singing Silent Night by candlelight.

We will offer a pre-recorded Christmas Day service to be played from our website at your convenience. This service will include carols and Pr. Katie’s telling of the Christmas story for children (just like at our usual Family Service on Christmas Eve). This service will not include communion.

If we are able to gather in person at Redeemer services will be short (under 30 minutes) will include Scripture reading, a sermon, and Holy Communion, and will conclude with Silent Night sung outdoors, while masked for all who wish to stay. People can stand as far off or as near as they feel confortable. If this becomes a possibility, look for an announcement in December about times and how to register to attend.
