Wednesday Outdoor Worship

Redeemer’s summer Wednesday 7 pm worship service begins June 9, 2021 and will highlight what we have missed most about church during the pandemic – singing, fellowship, and participation. This service will take place outdoors ONLY, so check the weather, bring a chair, and sit where you feel comfortable. Since we’re outside, you can mask to your comfort level – but your mask will still be required if you enter the building. Come early with a picnic and stay after to catch up with good friends and enjoy some popsicle fellowship.

This 30-minute outdoor service will not just be a repeat of Sunday’s sermon – it will feature sermons and reflections from the congregation. Each Wednesday will center on a theme that promises to include some of your favorite hymns.

The Wednesday evening outdoor service will include communion every week. We will most certainly need your help to pull this off, so please reach out to Tyler or Graeme if you’d be willing to share a brief sermon or offer your musical talents on Wednesday evenings.

Worship is at the heart of what we do at Redeemer.

Worship at Redeemer is friendly but not informal, relevant but not trendy. We worship using the liturgy, the age-old pattern of the church, which provides a recognizable flow to the service.

During this COVID season, Redeemer is offering virtual worship on-line and modified in-person services when it is safe to do so.  Both virtual and in-person services follow the same pattern and always include Holy Communion.

We Gather, we Hear the Word, we Share in the Meal, and we are Sent to do God’s work in the world.
