Pr. Katie became the Senior Pastor of Redeemer in the winter of 2011. She has previously served parishes in California. Pr. Katie enjoys being back in the Midwest where she attended college (BA Classical Languages, Carleton College) and Graduate School (MDiv, The University of Chicago).
Pr. Katie lives in Hinsdale with her husband, Jay, and their two children John (12) and Betty (5). Outside of church work she enjoys writing, cooking, running, and the occasional knitting project.
Pr. Katie is the Dean of the Near West Conference of the Metro Chicago Synods of the ELCA and serves on the boards of HCS Family Services (Hinsdale, IL) and Bishop Anderson House (Chicago, IL).
